Gouthreau, Violet F. – 83, of Parrsboro, Cumberland Co. passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Fraserville, she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel (White) Crossman. She is survived by her children, Wayne (Patricia), Milton, Ont.; Marlene Deveau, Toronto; Gloria Bement (Ken), Red Deer, Alta.; a sister, Jeanette McCully (Claude Lamb), Parrsboro; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Eileen; brothers, Lester and Leon. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today [Tuesday, December 22, 2009] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday [December 23, 2009], Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
