Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre Ada Littlejohn of Portugal Cove at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her husband John (1989). Left to mourn her only daughter Betty Mitchell (Russ), two granddaughters Beverly Mitchell and Susan Scott (Mike) Also her three precious great-grandchildren Ian, Anna and Alex Scott. Also left to mourn her brothers and sisters Nita Vokey, Reg Best (Donna), Hannah Neil (Wally), Emily Haynes (Mac), Heber Best (Pat), Mabel Smith (Bill), and Carl Best (Edyepat). Also her sister-in-law Pearl Best as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral service took place on Saturday, December 26th at 11:30 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. The burial followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Portugal Cove. Donations may be made in Ada’s memory to the St. Lawrence Anglican Church Building Fund, Portugal Cove.
