Passed peacefully away at Hoyles-Escasoni, St. John’s, N.L. on Thursday, December 24, 2009; Stella Sainsbury age 102 years and five months of Greenspond. Predeceased by her parents; Edward and Hannah Peckford, her husband; Silas J. Sainsbury 1974, granddaughter; Nancy Young Llewelyn, sons-in-law; Hank Price and Edward Parsons. Leaving to mourn with fond and beautiful memories are six daughters; Angela Price of Peterborough, Ont, Mary Parsons of Gander, Geraldine (James Young) of St. John’s, Mae (Donald Dyke) of Greenspond, Audrey of St. John’s, Nancy (Edgar Parsons) of St. John’s, 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Visitation to begin on Saturday, December 26th, at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Greenspond from where the funeral will take place on Monday, December 28th, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Shaun O’Connor officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Greenspond. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Greenspond.
