Burton, Blanche (Falconer) – Truro. It is with great sadness that the family of Blanche (Falconer) Burton announce her passing on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Truro. Born in Whitney Pier, Cape Breton on May 26, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Eliza Falconer. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald MacPherson; second husband, Norman Burton; son, Thomas “Brent” Burton; brothers, Ben, Roy, Amos and Joe; sisters, Amelia Nichol, Pearl McCann and Violet Wilson. Blanche is survived by her sister, Florence “Flossy” Robertson; children, Sharon Denton (John); Norman Gary; Alan; Roy (Shelly); Brenda Sutherland (Butch); Bonnie Gail DeCoste (Ed); grandchildren, Jamie, Dwayne, Melanie, Raymond, Crystal, Brittnay, William, Adam, Brendan, Shawn, Chad, Kaila, Kyle, Brandon, Nicole and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Brent, Morgan, Hannah, Jesse, Kayden and Kayvin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd from 7-9pm, with funeral service on Thursday, May 24th at 10am, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Captain Stephen McNeilly officiating, with a private family interment. Family flowers only.
