The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, of Eleanor Gillis, of Walker Avenue, Summerside, aged 70 years. Born in Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Keir and Ella (Ramsay) Clark. Survived by her daughter Deborrah Gillis (Kevin), Dartmouth; son Dale (Marilyn) Summerside; grandchildren Sam and Taylor; sister Mildred MacKinnon, New Argyle; brothers Don (Eileen), Kensington; Dr. Marvin (Marla), Summerside; sisters-in-law Elva Clark, Summerside; and Margaret "Peggy" Clark, Kensington. Predeceased by her husband Donald Gillis and by brothers Elwood and Leslie Clark. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
