Lucia Marie Hinks of Fort McMurray, Alberta, (formerly of Port Saunders, NL) passed away at the age of 45 years in Edmonton, Alberta. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Shawn Genge; children Marissa and Sarah; mother Genevieve; and brothers and sisters. Lucia was predeceased by her father Arthur Thomas. Friends visited St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Wednesday evening and Thursday from where the funeral service was held on Friday, April 20 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society.
