The family of Joseph (Victor) Fredrick DesRoches were saddened by his passing on Sept 24, 2008, at Toronto General Hospital. Predeceased by his mother Bertha and sister-in-law Gertie. Survived by his wife Frances and two sons Jerry and Johnny; his father Melvin and step-mother Zillie (Tignish); six brothers, Melvin Junior (Lillian), Douglas (Colleen), Donald (Gail), Reginald (Kim), Wayne (Lula) and Loring (Bim); several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral to take place in Toronto Oct. 8. Memorial service to take place on Friday Oct. 10, 10:30 a.m., St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish.
