Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on December 26th, 2009. Ed was a long time employee of St. John’s City Council. Predeceased by his parents William and Myrtle; parents-in-law William and Clara Evans and brothers-in-law Billy and Ron Evans. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Nellie (nee Evans); brothers Dave (Margaret), Leslie and Bob (Marie); sister Diane; sisters-in-law Margaret Evans and Mary Evans; brother-in-law Doug; best friend Dave Tucker; as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted.
