Husband of Phyllis (Ford) Deacon. Father of Don (Cindy) and Janice. Grandfather of Christa Bertram (Robert), Tyler Deacon, Travis (Cailin) Deacon and Kellie Deacon. Great-grandfather of Alex and Madison Bertram. Brother of Joyce MacLauchlan (Alvin, deceased) and Marjorie MacLauchlan (Harry, deceased). Brother-in-law of Queenie Deacon, Alton Russell, Laura (Paul) Power, Olive (Gary) Stricker, Glennis MacKenzie, Enid Ford and Lona Ford (Walt, deceased). Predeceased by brothers Victor and Emmerson (Jean) and sisters Lillian Ling (Harry) and Wilma Russell.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel, Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
