STEEVES, WALLACE “WALLY” ADDISON - Wallace "Wally" Addison Steeves, 80, of Petitcodiac, passed away at home on May 24, 2012. Born in Pleasantvale, Wally was a son of the late Warren and Pearl (nee Colpitts) Steeves. He worked at Canada Cement for 36 years. Wally is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ethel Steeves (nee Stone); his daughters: Sharon Holt (Jim) of Petitcodiac, Leslie Steeves of Moncton, Heather Ward (Bill) of Riverview, and Holly O’Toole (Kevin) of Miramichi; his son, Philip Steeves (Paulette) of Middleton, NS; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, Wally was predeceased by his sisters: Helen, Margaret, Emily, and Winnifred; and by his brother, Ivan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac (506-756-3361); the funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at the Petitcodiac Baptist Church with Pastor David Woodworth presiding.
