GILBERTE COX

Passed on: May 25th, 2012

Mrs. Gilberté Elise Marie “Gail” Cox (also known as “Trouble”), age 79 of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 25, 2012. She is now in the arms of all those who went before her. Gail will be sadly missed by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews; as well as her Chateau St. Michael’s family; her children, Linda (Ernie) Penney and Larry (Glenda Lee) Cox. Till we meet again Mom.

Sleeping Beauty By: Larry Cox - May 25, 2012

She lays not so quiet with hoses and needles
wishing and praying she wasn't so feeble.

Mouth open and roaring like a waterfall reaching its end,
nurses watching so carefully, extending their hands to lend.

Her puppy leaning lifelike, nestled in her neck,
once again the kindness comes in for their check.

Not a whisper, not a sound, and there's no one around ...
she hops up from the bed with a leap and a bound.

Amazed at the legs, the arms and the feet
are painless once again - the disease she must have beat!

Out of the door and to the right, being so careful not to fall,
towards the desk and the light, to the man in the hall.

He turns with a smile she remembers so clear,
extends his arms to claim all of her fear.

Her children now crying ever so loud,
she rushes between them, "You've made me ever so proud!"

"But now, my loves, I must leave this place
to be with your Dad and kiss our grandson's face.
I will see you one day when your time has come,
'til then, my kids, remain bonded as one."

I wrote this for you Mom…with love.
