MURPHY, William Joseph – Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital with his family at his side. Bill Murphy, age 62 years of Long Harbour. Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Elizabeth Murphy. Left to cherish his memory his wife Donna; sons: Billy and Owen (Misty); daughter Janice (John); grandchildren: Lucas, Colby, Abegael, Emma, Gavin and Olivia; brothers: Tobe (Germaine), Doug (Maxine), Brian, Basil (Loretta), Gary (Kathleen), Gerard (Colleen); sister Rosalind (Wayne); uncle Matthew Northover (Willie) as well as the McCarthy family and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sincere thank you to Doctors L. Hatcher, B. Reddy, N. Bandrauk, Dr. Leonard, Fr. F. Slattery, nurses from 4 West and 7 West and to the ICU for your care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. at St. Jerome’s Church, Long Harbour. Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 28th, 2012 from St. Jerome’s Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation or to the Ronald McDonald House.
