Born in Norboro on Aug. 18, 1928, son of the late Stanley and Annie (MacMurdo) Sharpe. Husband of Elda (MacLeod) Sharpe. Father of Karlene (Allison) Maynard, Moncton, N.B.; Byron (Charlene) Sharpe, Moncton; Darla (William) Hardy, Summerside; Melanie (Myles) MacPherson, Kensington; and Marsha Platts, Summerside. Grandfather to Ryan and Jillian Maynard, Moncton; Kelly (Dwayne) Lafave, Alberta; Amber Sharpe, Charlottetown; Samantha Sharpe, Charlottetown; Robert Sharpe, Moncton; Andrew Hardy, Charlottetown; Karsen and Taylor Hardy, Summerside; Paige MacPherson, Kensington; Tyler MacPherson, Kensington; Chelsey Platts, Summerside; and Brendan and Tanner Platts, Searletown. Great grandfather of Alliyah and Mark Lafave. Brother-in-law of Evelyn Adams and Enid Higgins both of Kensington. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by grandson Matthew MacPherson, brother Lloyd Sharpe and special Aunt Edna MacMurdo.
