Michael Joseph Doyle of Port Dover (formerly of Cape Breton), passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday, May 24, 2012, after a brief illness, at the age of 53.
Loving father of Christena (Dave Mels), Delhi, Gerald, Waterloo, Michael (Kristina), Simcoe, and their mother Sharon Proctor, Cape Breton. Much loved grandfather of Desiree, David, Kayla, Dakota, Kyle, Ashley and Emma. Will be missed by his longtime companion and friend, Linda. Survived by brothers, Tommy, Danny, Jerry, Ray, Pat, Francis; sisters, Lilian, Helen, Ann and Charlene. As well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Mary Ellen Hannigan and father, Tom Doyle, his sisters, Margaret and Josie and brother, Bill.
Friends are invited to meet with the family to share their memories of Michael on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in St. Patrick’s Hall, North East Margaree, from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 30 from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with funeral mass to follow at 2 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, North East Margaree, with Fr. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
