It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lawrence P. O’Toole, 69, formerly of Bras d’Or on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, in South Hampton, Ont.
Born in Bras d’Or, he was the son of the late Patrick and Leona (LeBlanc) O’Toole.
He worked for many years in construction as a welding inspector.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura Lee, Woodstock, Ont.; his grandsons, Liam and Aiden; two sisters, Theresa Cashin, Northside Guest Home, and Nancy Mansfield, Bras d’Or; two brothers, Stanley (Sadie) O’Toole and Donnie (Doris) O’Toole, both of Bras d’Or; and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Lenny, two sisters, Helen Cashin and Maydell LeBlanc and two brothers, Gussie and Terry O’Toole.
Cremation and burial took place in South Hampton, Ontario.
