JAYNE, June Carolyn – 68, of Yarmouth, passed away on May 25, 2012 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born January 28, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary Katherine (Saulnier) Burrill. June was a devoted member of the Salvation Army and volunteered at the Yarmouth Thrift Store. She loved gardening and her fish pond. June especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a cashier most of her working days and retired from Spears and MacLeod Pharmacy. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 48 years Donald, Yarmouth; son, Mark (April) Yarmouth Co., brother, Terry (Jackie) Yarmouth ;Kenny (Diane) Yarmouth; sisters, Sharon(Terry) Ryan, Yarmouth; Lynn (Richard) Sisco, Windsor N.S.; Karen (Bill) Rhyno- Betts, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Justin, Lucus and Alex. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation took place on Monday, May 28 from 7-9 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service took place Tuesday, May 29 at 2 p.m from the Salvation Army Church, Major Peter and Janice Rowe officiated. Interment followed in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Donations in June’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army or Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery.
