WESTVILLE – Theresa Florence Chabassol, 87, of Spring Garden Road, Westville, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2009 in Valley View Villa, Riverton.
Born in Grand Tracadie, Prince Edward Island, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Watts) MacKinnon
She lived in Westville for all of her married life and was a member of the Church of The Holy Name, and the Catholic Womens League.
Mrs. Chabassol will be dearly missed by daughters, Dorothy (Donald)Mason, Stellarton, Bernadette Scott-Hegenbarth, Halifax; Mary (Kenneth) Lowe, Lower Sackville; Phyllis Chabassol, Dartmouth; Audrey Chabassol, Westville; Lorna (Scott) Cameron, Trenton; Donna (Eric) Beaton, New Glasgow; sisters, Catherine (Cally) Williams and Anna Paquet, P.E.I.; eighteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Lawrence "Gus" Chabassol; brothers, Michael, Ben, Allen, John, Rod and son-in-laws William H. "Bill" Scott; and Fred Hegenbarth.

Visitation was held Sunday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Donald Boudreau officiating.
