STEWART, AUDREY - Audrey M. Stewart passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home. Born 1914 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Clarke) Trecartin. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband George Stewart; son Robert Stewart; brothers Robert Trecartin, John Trecartin and Donald Trecartin; sisters Lillian Trecartin, Margaret Patterson and Sadie Black. Audrey was a member of the Christmas Club and learned to play the organ beautifully later in life. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Barbara Whittaker (Paul) of Prince Edward Island; daughter-in-law Janet Stewart of Saint John; grandchildren Mark Whittaker, Ryan Whittaker, Paula Lyn (Whittaker) Cleveland, Adam and Andrew Stewart and great grandchildren Caroline, Savannah, Victoria, Bailey and Torri; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday, May 31st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Old Cedar Hill Cemetery, Lancaster Avenue.
