Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Sunday, December 27, 2009 Ceanne Butt R.N. of St. John’s at the age of 56 years. Predeceased by her father Melvin Rose (1991). Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 34 years Des; daughter Shanna; son Ian (Sherry Breen); mother Effie Rose; loving brothers: Glen, Billy (Donna) and Harry; loving sisters: Pam (Al), Melanie (Ken), Lisa (Brent) and Gina (Dave); special friend Jean Smith; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; then on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove, N.L. on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. No flowers by request.
