Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, on Sunday, December 27, 2009, Mary Frances Christopher aged 89 years. Predeceased by husband Leo, son Leo (Jr.) and daughter Monica Mercer. Leaving to mourn sons Kevin (Cecilia) and Leonard (Donna); daughters: Joan (Frank), Cecilia (Kevin), Doreen (Ed), Theresa and Geraldine (Barry), daughters-in-law Cathy and Darlene, 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends, especially friends and caregivers at Neville’s Personal Care Home and Bridget Halleran whom she considered her “Second Mother”. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Monday, December 28, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. (Family Only) and Tuesday, December 29, 2009, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s.
