Passed peacefully away in his sleep on Christmas Day December 25th, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, Loi Tai Lau, aged 71 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Bik Ngan Lau, daughters Connie, Edna, Lucy and son Simon. Mr. Lau came to Newfoundland in 1971 and immediately started The Peking Chinese Take Out in Mount Pearl which he successfully operated until his retirement in 2003. The family will be receiving visitors at The Carnell Visitation and Reception Center 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl on Tuesday and Wednesday December 29th and 30th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer celebration will take place on Thursday December 31st at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
