SPRINGHILL JCT. The death of Florence \"Flo\" Leblanc, age 69, of Springhill Jct., occurred suddenly at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Saturday, December 26, 2009.
Born in Newmarket, ON, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Chapelle) Brown.
Florence was a 25 year employee with IMP Aerospace. She loved her 2 little poodles, gardening, crafts, woodworking, cooking, being involved with the Salvation Army and playing music.
Florence will be sadly missed by her husband, Ronald Leblanc; 3 daughters, Shirley (Kevin) Sachs, Susan (Waylon) Fisher and Sheri (Mike) Gordon; 2 sons, Montgomery (Kathy) MacLean and Robin MacLean; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Marie (Ken) Page, Anneke (Art) Field, Elaine (Grant) McGregor and Gladys Brown and a brother Edward (Joan) Brown. She was predeceased by a son William Taylor, a granddaughter, Michelle Sachs and a grandson Matthew Fisher.
Florence\'s remains have been entrusted into the care of the AH Brown Funeral Service, Springhill (597-2361) from where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 2 pm. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Burial in North Street Cemetery in the spring.
