At Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, of Georgie Pearl Smith of Summerside aged 85, beloved wife of the late Elzie Smith. Born in Conway on March 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Nelson and Lula (Huestis) Palmer. Dear sister of Hazel Grigg, Summerside. Sister-in-law of Delcie MacNevin, Halifax, N.S.; Ruby Smith, Summerside; Marjorie Smith, Freeland; Pearl Smith, Charlottetown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Elzie Clair, brother Sterling and sister Jean Rayner. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Foxley River at 11 a.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
