HUDGINS, Ethyl Winnifred, 93, Truro, passed away December 28, 2009 at Williams Country Homes. Born in Port George, Annapolis County, she was the daughter of the late Israel and Edna (Fritz) Rayfuse. Ethyl was a devoted wife and loving mother. Times spent with her family and friends were her most special moments. Ethyl was a life member of U. C. W. and an active member of Brunswick Street United Church. She loved to play bridge and enjoyed making tea and lunch for all who came to visit. Ethyl was predeceased by her loving husband, Cecil, of 65 years; brother, Earle Rayfuse and sister, Geneva Veinot. Ethyl is survived by son, Leslie (Edith), Victoria, BC and daughter, Phyllis (Brian) McNutt, Bedford, NS, grandchildren, Christopher and Taryn; special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, from 6-8 p. m. with funeral service on Saturday, January 2, at 11a.m. both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, with Rev. David Lutes officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
