It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Wicks announce his passing on Monday, December 28th 2009 at his family residence in Jackson’s Arm, at the age of 38. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents Wilson and Bonnie Wicks, brother Walter (Lisa), sisters: Tammy (Carl) Taylor, Barbara (Darren) Gardner, nieces: Jenna, Alexandra, Hailey and nephew Patrick as well as a large circle of aunts uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Edgar and Pricilla Wicks and Walter and Pearl Tulk. Friends may visit St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Jackson’s Arm on Wednesday from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 31st, at 11 AM with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake.
