EUREKA – Ralph Otto Bell, age 75 of Eureka, passed way December 29, 2009, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Eureka, he was a son of the late Bill and Annie (Kindervater) Bell.
Ralph was a resident of Eureka all of his life. He was employed at Trenton Works for many years. He loved camping and always enjoyed a good game of cards. He was a member of the former Wesley United Church, Eureka. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his children: Stephen (Winnie), Eureka; Joanne (Daniel) Wilkins, River John; John (Karen), Eureka; Marjorie (Kevin) Moser, Sunny Brae; Phillip (Natalie) Westville; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Winnifred Brown; brothers, Sonny and Bob; and a sister, Marjorie.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday from the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Heather Landry officiating. Burial will be in the MacLean Cemetery, Hopewell.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Society or Valley View Villa.
