Margaret MacKinnon died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at home.
Born in West Bay, Inverness County, she was a daughter of the late Murdoch and Mary Bell (MacKenzie) Campbell.
Margaret was a homemaker and a member of Forbes United Church, River Denys.
She is survived by sons, Brian (Susan), Dartmouth, and Dana (Murdena), Whycocomagh; daughters, Marguerite (Murdoch) Olsen, Orangedale, and Ann Marie (Calvin) Gillis, River Denys; grandchildren, Robert, Beverley, James, Dougie, Corene, Lori, Dwayne, Matthew, Alisha, Brittany, Lyle and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Anna, Anthony, Matson and Dalton. Margaret was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ewen, brothers, Donnie, John, Angus, Freeman and Donald, sisters, Annie, Mary, Catherine.
She will be missed by her feline companion Sassy.
Visitation will be held today from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday in Forbes United Church, River Denys, with Rev. Janet Blois officiating. Burial in Fir Grove Cemetery.
