It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Derek Hugh Styles at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on May 31, 2012 after a very lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Left with loving memories are his wife, Sandy, son Brent (Samantha), grandson, Taylor, granddaughter, Bailey, both his loyal four legged friends Powder and Katt, sister, Gwen, brothers, Ray, Skip (Rose), Gary and a large number of nieces, nephews as well as a huge circle of family and friends. Derek is predeceased by his son Greg and parents Sid and Sue Styles. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Derek’s life will take place on Sunday, June 3rd from 7- 9 p.m. at the Harmon Seaside Links Club House.
