DUPUIS, JUDE - Jude Dupuis of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook (formerly of Dorchester) passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the age of 91. Born on January 23, 1921 in College Bridge, he was the son of the late Dominique Dupuis and the late Delvina LeBlanc. He worked as a Correctional Officer at the Dorchester Penitentiary until his retirement. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Memramcook, Memramcook Legion #89 and was a Veteran of the Second World War. He is survived by his daughter, Pam Dupuis of Saint John; one sister, Marguerite (late Eugene) LeBlanc of Memramcook and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marie Louise (2005) and by two brothers Georges and Fred (Jack).
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 rte La Vallee on Sunday, June 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. where there will be a Legion Service at 2:00 pm and on Monday, June 4 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Monday, June 4 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Veterans Park, Memramcook. A special thank you to the 3A unit at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center.
