
Glenna MacKinnon
MacKINNON, GLENNA MAUDE - The passing of Glenna M. MacKinnon occurred at the Central NB Nursing Home on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Born in Tay Mills, NB, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Christina (Wield) Thomas, and wife of the late Frank E. MacKinnon. Glenna enjoyed gardening, both flowers and vegetables, was an avid quilter and loved her family dearly. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling with her family on road trips. She is survived by two sons Wayne MacKinnon and his wife Deborah of Nashwaak Bridge, Reg MacKinnon of Saint John; two daughters Carolyn McBride and her husband Allison of Woodstock, Patricia MacDonald and her husband Paul of Fredericton; one grandson Michael MacKinnon; three granddaughters Amy MacKinnon, Andrea and Lisa Gallagher; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one son Brian; two brothers Vernon and Roy; two sisters Eleanor and Edna.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Stanley with Rev. Wendy Amos-Binks officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Stanley Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Stanley Just Friends Food Bank or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
