The death occurred at home in Calgary, Alberta, on Monday, May 21, 2012 of Don McKinnon in his 59th year.
Don was born on June 30, 1953 and raised in Selkirk, P.E.I. by his loving parents Pius and Margaret McKinnon who both predeceased him. Don leaves to mourn a lost life; his son Reggie (Carmella Sheehan), Reggie's mother Patricia MacKinnon, sons John and Billy and their mother Beth Perry. Also left to mourn are his brother Derril (Lori) Peters, nephews Logan and Mitchell, and his uncle Reggie Flynn.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Sunday, June 3, 2012, 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Monday afternoon to St. Margarets Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 3 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Margarets Cemetery Fund.
