FRANK PAUL WAGNER
Born In: Saskatchewan, Canada
Passed in: British Columbia, Canada
January 13, 1931 -
December 26, 2009
He came to fly.
Born in Kisbey, SK, the eldest of 4 children, Frank joined the RCAF in 1948. Serving until 1977, he flew 34 different aircraft, including Sabres, Twin Otters, and Yukons, when he "retired" to fly executive aircraft for Syncrude for 12 years. When he finally retired in 1989, he settled in Carrying Place, ON and volunteered with the RCAF Museum in Trenton, ON. Frank claimed he never worked a day in his life, he enjoyed flying so much.
He had a quirky sense of humour, a love of language, and enjoyed a practical joke.
Frank will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Norma, his daughter Linda (Duncan) and his son Mike (Angela). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Greg, Christine, and Caitlin. Frank is survived by his brother Alvin.
Above the clouds,
Frank will always be in the sunshine.
