It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a beautiful mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend Maxine Beatrice Francis, age 60, of Clarkes Head, Gander Bay. She passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander on Saturday, May 26, after a battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father, Dominic and sister Andrea. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her mother; Inez, son; Steve, granddaughter; Madison, brothers; Reg (Pauline), Dalton (Cathy), Ira (Gwen), and Philip, sisters; Marie, Joan (Fred), Selma (Cliff), Christine (Dick), Joanne (Larry), and Yvonne (Bob), and 12 nephews, 4 nieces, and other relatives and many friends. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Service was held on May 29, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wing's Point, creamation followed.
