Surrounded by his loving family Glen McRitchie, age 62 passed away peacefully on June 2, 2012. Glen happily resided in Moose Jaw his entire life where he continually involved himself in community. Glen had a passion for fastball and he coached for many years, golf, carrying on the family business, Ottawa Real Estate and above all else his family who he loved deeply. Glen will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years Daphne; daughter Terrill (Dana) Skoropad of Chamberlain and their children Noah and Sol; son Derek (Ashley Overs) McRitchie, of Moose Jaw; sister Carol (Kenneth) Rolfsness of Wyoming; nephew Scott (Jennifer) Rolfsness and their daughter of Maryland; niece, Tania (Robert) Taylor and their children of Colorado; aunts, Jean Morris of Lampman, Dolores McRitchie of Moose Jaw as well as many cousins. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 1:30p.m. at Minto United Church, 1036-7th Ave. NW., Moose Jaw. Reverend Scott Rolfsness, Glen’s nephew will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contribution to Canadian Lung Association, 1231 8th St. E.,Saskatoon, SK, S7H 0S5 will be greatly appreciated.
