(November 25, 1925 - June 3, 2012). Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Sunday, June 3, 2012, Edmund Christopher of Mall Bay, S.M.B, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Mary Frances Christopher; brothers: William, Stephen, and Richard; sisters: Ellen, Mary, Margaret, Marie and Hannah; son-in-law Brian Critch and brother-in-law John Gorman. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Mary (nee Gorman); sons: James (Carol), Stephen (Bernadette) and Eddie (Sherry); daughters: Eleanor Adams (Ivan), Bernadette Critch and Cheryl Ellis (Dennis); cherished grandchildren: Kerri, Mark, Andrea, Richard, Krista, Stephen, Robert, Lori, Sheldon, Dana, Scott, Jeffrey and special grandchild Katie; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Briane, Brian, Jacob, Ella, Ryan and Jari; brother-in-law Francis Gorman and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially Joe and Stella Hearn, his roommate John Thompson and other friends and residents at Chancellor Park and his special four-legged friend, ‘Maggie’. A special thank you is extended to the management and staff of Chancellor Park for the excellent care and attention he received during his stay of four years. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 7 - 9 p.m. (Family Only) and Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 2 - 4 p.m.; 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s.
