Suddenly at Charlottetown on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, of Sylvia Rebecca Snow, RN., nee Gillis, of 2 Water Street, Charlottetown, age 47 years. Loving mother to Daniel Snow of Fredericton, N.B. Born in Alberton on Sept. 1, 1961, she was the daughter of Doris (nee Hogan) and the late Clarence Gillis of Tignish. Dear sister to Mary (Howard) Ready of Christopher's Cross, Nancy (Archie) MacKinnon of Charlottetown, Carol Gillis (Jimmy Getson) of O'Leary, and Edwin (Janice) Gillis of Summerside. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Jody Gillis. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Funeral on Thursday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude's Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
