The death occurred of Joseph Alfred Wedge (aka the Candy Man), surrounded by love, at the home of his daughter in Bromont, Que., on Monday, June 4, 2012, formerly of Summerside, aged 92 years. Son of the late Emmanuel and Eleanor (Arsenault) Aucoin. Survived by his daughters Kathy (Raymond) Leduc, Bromont, Que.; Bobbi-Jo (Tim) Thiessen, Kitchener, Ont.; Eleanor (Robert) Gilliland, Burlington, Ont.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and by his sister Louise Wedge, Summerside. Predeceased by his wife Constance (O’Connor) Wedge, seven sisters and one brother. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday morning from 10 until the time of the funeral. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to the Salvation Army Food Bank would be appreciated.
