It is with great sadness the family of Gladys Leah Janes announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on June 05, 2012 at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories 3 daughters: Dalphine Ball, Gloria (John Piercey) and Joan (Keith Bishop), 2 sons: John (Diane) and Derik (Karen), brother John Moores, 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Chesley, son Edwin, daughter Maude, sister Amy, son-in-law Calvin Ball, 7 bothers-in-law and 5 sisters-in- law. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Salvation Army Organ Fund. Visitation will take place today from Parsons Funeral and Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake Wednesday 7-9 pm. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 8th. at 2 pm. from The Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake with internment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road Cemetery.
