RYAN After an over two year battle with cancer Patricia Louise Ryan passed away with her family by her side on February 22nd, 2008. Her journey began 46 years ago on November 23rd, 1961 in Bella Coola, B.C. Born to loving parents Shirley and John Larsen, and making proud big brothers of James (Catherine) and Kevin (Susan). In 1969 the family moved to Kamloops, B.C. It is where she met and married Reg Ryan, and together in 1983 they welcomed the twins Desiree and Sheridan. They were the true joy of Patricia's life. Although the marriage ended, Patricia and Reg remained friends. In 2001 Patricia met Greg Power the great love of her life, and the next seven years to follow would be her happiest. Greg's parents Anna and Bob Power and family joined with Patricia's loved ones to make one big family. Patricia also leaves behind numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, cousins and friends. All of whom will sorely miss the kind, and loving spirit that Patricia so abundantly possessed. In 1999 John, Patricia's father passed away. there is no doubt that he was there to meet Patricia in the last leg of her journey. Her body may have lost the battle with cancer, but Patricia's courageous fighting spirit certainly won the war. We love you Mom, 'Till we meet again. There will be a small celebration of Patricia's life for family and close friends at Mino's Restaurant on Tuesday, February 26th, From 3:00-5:00 P.M.
