HUFFMAN It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Chester Harle Huffman in his 88th year. Chester passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2008 at Coquihalla Gillis House in Merritt, B.C. He was born in Neepawa, Manitoba on September 26th, 1919. Chester was a long time residence of Kamloops, B.C. where he was employed with the B.C. Forest Service and retired in 1969 after 32 years of service. Chester and his wife, Esther moved to Merritt, B.C. in 2004. His wife, Esther predeceased him in June 2005. Chester is survived by his son Robert Huffman (Brenda) of Kamloops and his daughter Patricia Buckham (Bruce) of Merritt. His four grandsons, Greg Huffman (Wendy), Kevin Huffman (Tammy) all of Kamloops, Andrew Buckham (Rachel) of Abbotsford and Nathan Buckham (Kymm) of Victoria will miss their Grandpa dearly. Also surviving him are eight great-grandchildren, Jaime, Sarah, Josh, Randi and Brandon Huffman and Megan, Brady and Carter Buckham. The family would like to thank the staff at Coquihalla Gillis House for the wonderful care they gave Chester during his stay there. There is no funeral by request, but the family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Coquihalla Gillis House in Chester's memory. We love you dad and we will all miss your smiling face
