Passed in: British Columbia, Canada

KEN DINSDALE 1958 ~ 2008 It is with immense sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of our dear husband and father, Ken Dinsdale, on Saturday morning, March 1st, after a short illness. Ken was a loving husband to Barb and a great dad to Laura and Jen. He is also survived by his parents Ron and Janet Dinsdale, and his sister Rhonda (Ken) Nichols. Ken also leaves behind a large extended family and many good friends. To begin to describe this wonderful man and all he meant to those who knew him would be like trying to describe the universe and all its mysteries. He was a man who was no stranger to adversity and never shied away from a challenge. Ken was one of the best telephone linemen in BC. He loved his job and always found fun in his work. Ken was always willing to help out those in need. Fast cars and photography were passions in his life and his pictures reveal his eye for beauty in the most ordinary places. He captured thousands of images that will be etched in our hearts forever. Ken loved being outside and loved all that nature provided him. He lived his life with eternal optimism and always believed that one should never give up. Ken's legacy is his family and friends. Special thanks to all the nursing staff and doctors who cared for Ken during his final days at Royal Inland Hospital. Ken, my sweet, you will be missed and forever in our hearts A Celebration of Ken's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8th, in Gateway City Church, 163 Oriole Rd, with Pastor Len DenBraber officiating. Donations in Ken's memory may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the BC Transplant Society. Kamloops Funeral Home 554-2577 Condolences may be emailed to the family from www.kamloopsfuneralhome.com
