SMITH 1945 - 2008 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Coral Ann Smith announces her passing on February 24th, 2008 at the age of 62. She will always be remembered by her husband Ernie, son Doug (Violet) of Coquitlam, daughter Tracy (Lee) of Burnaby, brother Doug (Lily) of Edmonton, sister Eunice of Fort Macleod and brother Fred (Lillian) of Carnduff. Coral was predeceased by her brothers Gerald, Walter and Ross. Coral was born in New Westminster on September 30th, 1945 and moved with her family to Salmon Arm, Vernon and Edmonton where she met Ernie. Coral was known for her quick wit and generosity, and was much liked in the community. She was a long time member of the Valleyview Overlander Lions, and her volunteer service benefited many in the Kamloops area. Coral's was a welcomed face at many softball tournaments in Kamloops as she, along with Ernie and her colleagues, provided refreshments in the beer gardens. Funeral services for family and friends will be held at Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 177 Tranquille Road on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.
