It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tommy Barkved. Tommy passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 69.

Tommy was born in New Westminster and moved to Kamloops in June 2006 residing at Hillside. He spent the past three years living at Serle and Alexis Homes where he was able to enjoy the lifestyle he always wanted.

Tommy will be missed by all who knew and cared for him. He will be remembered for his bright warm smiles, his infectious laugh and his honest approach to life!

A Memorial Service will be held in Tommy's honour in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow at Tommy's home, 1561 Alexis Road, Kamloops.
