DOHM On March 30, 2008 our dear wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Dohm passed away peacefully in her Kamloops home with her loved ones beside her at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her loving husband Martin, her daughter Pamela Brownstone of Vernon, her two sons Lawrence (Patti) Dohm of Salmon Arm, B.C. and Gregory Dohm of Nanaimo, B.C. and her five grandchildren, Megan, James and Elliot Dohm, Laurisa Dohm and Teresa Dohm. Also left to cherish her memory are her brother Michael Taylor and her sister in law Glenna Taylor. Betty was predeceased by her parents Joan and Clifford Taylor, her brother James Taylor and sister in law Ellen Taylor. Betty was born and raised in Kamloops, in her youth she enjoyed spending time at Paul Lake and skiing. She furthered her education in Vancouver and became an Elementary School teacher, teaching in Kamloops and Vancouver. Then married Martin Dohm, her devoted husband for 47 years, together they raised three children and were blessed with five grandchildren. Prayers will be recited on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Parish, 2797 Sunset Drive, Valleyview. The Reverend Father Nicholas Forde O.M.I. will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at the church on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pleasant Street Cemetery.
