CURRIE On Thursday, March 27, 2008 our loving mother and grandmother, Nellie Alice Currie passed away peacefully at her home in Chase, B.C. She is survived by her four daughters, Sharon (Jim) Skjeie of Chase, Doreen (John) Doll of Fort St. John, Bonnie (Bob) Monteith of Lumby and Dixie (Danny) Mattey of Chase and her three sons, Rick (Gloria) Chapman of Kamloops, Grant (Paulette) Currie of Chase and Doug (Marilyn) Currie of Kamloops; daughter-in-law Joanne Chapman of Kamloops; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Gerald Currie, her son Bill and three grandchildren Beverly Poole, Crystal Chapman and Doug Skjeie, her brother Bill Leshko and sister Pearl Palanio. Nellie was born in Fenwood, Saskatchewan on July 18, 1923. She has made her home in Chase for the past 60 years. A Service to Celebrate her Life will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chase Community Hall with The Reverend Shawn Chapman officiating. The family wishes to thank Dr. Vagyi for his many years of care and also to Dr. Lorenz.
