LUCILLE (JOLY) ADAMS July 12, 1939 - April 2, 2008 The Lord called upon His angel, Lucille Adams, with open arms on April 2, 2008. Her short and courageous battle with cancer was given amazing compassion and care by the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home. She is predeceased by her father, Leo Pold Joly of St. Paul, AB, her late husband Don Adams of Kamloops, nephew Barry Joly of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and her beloved son, Daniel Couture of Kamloops. She is survived by her daughter, Lydia Couture of Kamloops, her mother Isabelle Joly of St. Paul, AB and her loving family members: Viviane Spendiff (Lawrence) of Red Deer, AB, Lionel (Cosette) of Quebec City, QC, Valmore (Eva) Joly of St. Paul, AB, Denis (Darlene) Joly of Petrolia, ON, Evelyn (Charlie) Foster of Wetaskiwin, AB, Louise (John) Warholik of St. Paul, AB, Louis (Rolande) Joly of Vernon, BC, Hector (Linda) Joly of Kelowna, B.C. and Pat (Sue) Rhea & Erin Joly of Red Deer, AB. Her nieces and nephews are so numerous to name, but they all held a special place in Lucille's heart and they will miss her greatly. Lucille's passion and warmth was felt by this community. Along with being a member of numerous clubs, and in consideration of her outstanding service since 1985, a Life Time Member acknowledgment was given to her by the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada Unit # 290 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also an L.A. Past president and Affiliate Member of the Unit, which was a great honour. Her kindness was given to such causes as the Poppy Campaign, Candlelight Tribute and the Sick & Visiting Committee. She will be sadly missed and her sense of humor will live on to all members of her Anavets Unit.She was "THE" gourmet
