Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, June 16, 2012, Stirling Cook Lane of Charlottetown, age 85 years.
Caring husband of Lis (nee Jacobsen). Loved by his children Mette (Sean) Halley, Heather Lane (Jason Goldsmith), Chris and Sandy (Margot), grandchildren Ragen, Lane, Cole, Barrit, Kristin and Noah. Brother of Eileen Coolen. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Etta (Cook) Lane and brothers Hollis, Arne, Harry and Elmer Lane.
Special thanks to Dr. Rogerson at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and to the staff of Beach Grove with whom Stirling had close and hearty friendships.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
