“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that.”
J.K. Rowling, 1997

Amy was born April 18th, 1985 in Saskatoon. After graduating from Martensville High School Amy attended the University of Saskatchewan receiving her Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction in 2007. Amy loved learning and making friends so the university years were a happy time for her. Shortly after, she began her professional career with Affinity Credit Union where she worked until her passing.
Amy will be remembered as a strong young woman who knew what she liked and how she wanted things to go. She often had new stories about Dorian, her cat and Scout, her dog. She was a colourful gardener and enthusiastic knitter. Amy enjoyed parties and book clubs, fishing and decorating their home, family time and quiet times at home with Ian. Her time with us was short but she has filled our hearts and minds with many great memories.
Amy is survived by her loving partner Ian Dobra, her parents Brenda and John Tarasiuk, her sister Erin (Chris) Gordon and three special little nephews, Carson, Gavin and Garrett along with Ian’s family: Bonnie Dell and Andrew Dobra, Mark Dobra and Alex Dobra. She was a joy to her grandparents Faye and Magne Erikson along with Ian’s Grandpa Randolph Dell. Amy is also survived by her aunts and uncles: Wanda Hynne, Christine Fung, Cindy Dryka, Lyle Tarasiuk, and Mary Vermette and their families.
A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at the Northridge Centennial Community Centre, 901 – 3rd Street North, Martensville at 10:30, Thursday, June 21st. Please join family and friends as we share our memories of this amazing young woman.
Anyone wishing to make a charitable donation in Amy’s memory is encouraged to donate to: The Chris Knox Foundation, P.O. Box 3224, Regina, SK. S4P 3H1. www.chrisknoxfoundation.ca. Arrangements entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Services & Crematory, Martensville (242-7888)
