The death occurred peacefully, with family and friends by her side, at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, of Ruby (Day) McNeill, aged 79 years. Born in Wellington, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Delima (Gallant) Day. Survived by her children David (Marion), Day's Corner; Joanne (Roy) Perry, Richmond; Julie McNeill (John DesRoches), Day's Corner; Dwayne (Kim), Summerside; grandchildren Drew, Ainsley, Morgan, Sam, Ed, Sid, and Seth McNeill; Jack and Charlie DesRoches; sister Barbara (Francis) Laughlin, Wasaga Beach, Ont., and special friend Arlene Goodwin. Predeceased by her husband Edmund (Edd) McNeill and two children in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington Centre, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in church cemetery.
