JOSEPH ROSAIRE (ROSS) ROMEO LAVACK April 4, 1919 to April 10, 2008 Born in Lorette, Manitoba, Ross spent his youth in Vancouver, B.C., he traveled the world, working on a Norwegian freighter prior to WWII. Joined the RCAF and in 1941 stationed in Kamloops, B.C., where he met and married Bernice Henderson. Predeceased by both his parents and his brother Gerry LaVac, Vancouver, B.C. Ross is survived by his wife Bernice of 66 years, Sons, Harold (Marilyn) Lavack, Kamloops, B.C. & Larry (Andrea) Lavack, Toronto, Ont. Grandchildren, Scott (Patricia) Lavack & great grandson Michael, Nairobi, Kenya; Kimberley Lavack (fiancÈ Mike Olgilvie), Calgary, AB. Carrie (Hugh) Nerlich & great grandson Dylan, Toronto, Ont.; Janet Lavack, Toronto, Ont. Brother Robert (Ingela) Lavack, Prague, Czech. Sister-in-law Pat LaVac, Delta, B.C. Numerous nieces and nephews. Dad spent most of his adult life in the automobile business in Vancouver. In retirement he enjoyed the winter months in Arizona. He enjoyed numerous cruises all over the world with his "Sweetie" as he fondly called mom and spent the last enjoyable year at "Berwick on the Park" in Kamloops, B.C. Many thanks to the nursing staff on 5th and 6th North at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, B.C. and especially to Dr. Stan Fike for his consideration and close attention to Dad's needs.
